He has very special insights on how organizations can effectively develop new products and services to meet growing customer demands. And he will share them at the TechnologyForum 2015, giving the opening speech – on Friday, May 22nd.
He is Aneesh Chopra, the first Chief Technology Officer of the United States.
Appointed by President Obama to promote innovation in government, Chopra borrowed techniques from the most state-of-the-art companies — Procter & Gamble’s “Connect+Develop” strategy which sources 50% of its innovations from outside the organization; Amazon’s “Just Do It” awards to celebrate innovative ideas from within; and Facebook’s “Development Platform” that generates hundreds of thousands of jobs in the broader economy.
Chopra developed an "open innovation" strategy that exploits citizen expertise to make government smarter and more responsive to private sector demands.
In the opening session of the TechnologyForum 2015, Chopra will focus on competitiveness through technology – sharing his privileged point of view on how to really harness the power of technology to compete in the 21st Century.
