Go to the bars more, you might meet your future co-founder
Work with people smarter than you.
Never take any opportunity for granted.
Nanxi Liu has clear ideas. Less than 30 years old and already listed by Fortune as one of the ten most promising entrepreneurs of 2015.
A guest of the Technology Forum a few weeks ago, Liu began by recalling her not exactly easy childhood and a pathway of studies and determination: a double degree at Berkeley and a company to her credit since her college years: Nanoly Bioscience, which develops polymers that enable vaccines to survive without refrigeration.
A few years later, a second company: Enplug, a leader in open software.
Honored for Nanoly with the World Biomaterials Congress’ Top Research and NASA’s Top 10 New Tech Companies awards, Liu was recognized by the prestigious Inc. Magazine among its 30 Under 30!, won Mobilize.org’s National Leadership Awards together with California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger and is now a member of UN Women, the United Nations entity for gender equality and the empowerment of women.
With her energetic attitude and ready smile, Nanxi Liu responds here to the five questions of the Technology Forum on Innovation
